ABOUT

The Pet Ultrasound and Consulting Service was founded in 2020 by Dr Karen Hazell.

​

Karen graduated from the University of Sydney with a Bachelor of Veterinary Science in 1998. She worked in general practice for several years in the United Kingdom and Australia. During this time she developed a passion for internal medicine.

 

In 2006, Karen embarked on the long journey toward specialist qualifications and was awarded a fellowship of the Australian and New Zealand College of Veterinary Scientists in Small Animal Medicine in 2013.

Karen has many years of experience in busy specialists hospitals and is now excited to be offering a mobile ultrasound and consulting service for veterinarians in the Brisbane area.
